(VOV) - A 12-member art troupe, named Raices Profundas Deep Roots, from Cuba will perform in Vietnam from April 19-22, according to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
The troupe, founded in 1974, is one of the well-known dance groups in Cuba as well as the world.
The troupe will introduce the Vietnamese public to a diverse program of Cuban folk music and dancing.
The audience will have a chance to enjoy many dances, from those representing the colonial period to joyful Salsa steps, as well as familiar international styles such as Rumbas, Cha-Cha, Mambo, and Bolero.
Cuba’s music and dancing has developed on a high level of professionalism.
Raices Profundas Deep Roots, which has toured different countries around the world, will give a performance at the Hanoi Opera House on the evening of April 20 and another one at the Army Theatre on April 21.
