PANO – The Border Guard High Command held an expertise training course on April 16 th in Border Guard School Number 2 for more than 200 officers, who were commanders of the border stations in southern Vietnam (from Quang Nam Province southward).
Major-General Nguyen Phuoc Loi, the Deputy-Commander of the Border Force, attended and addressed the opening ceremony.
He underlined the need to improve knowledge and skills for border officers in order to successfully accomplish their tasks in new situations.
The contents of the course include staff work, Party and political work, border specialist skills, reconnaissance, smuggling and drugs trafficking prevention.
During the course, the learners will also go on tour to several border stations to learn real experiences.
