Dr Nguyen Van Son, Director of Thang Long-Hanoi Heritage Preservation Centre, said that in the 13 th and 14 th centuries, Thang Long had special ties with the royal step-over place in Thien Truong, Nam Dinh Province.
At that time, the royal step-over place in Thien Truong was a very important military base after Thang Long. It was seen as the second capital under the Tran dynasty. Thien Truong was a vital political centre, playing a role in managing and administrating the country. The close relationship between Thang Long and Thien Truong could be observed on tangible and intangible cultural values, according to long-term studies.
The exhibition, which ends on June 30 th , is divided into three parts: historical documents, archaeological objects excavated, and poetry and literary works.
