More than 60 antiques on display, including bells, incense-burners, royal decrees, crowns, and drums, are embellished with dragon patterns in various mediums including stone, pottery, paper, wood, gold and silver.
The exhibits are arranged according by time period, beginning with the Dong Son culture (from the first to the 10th centuries), Ly and Tran dynasties (from the 11th to 14th centuries); Le and Mac dynasties and Le Trung Hung era (from the 15th to 18th centuries); the Cham culture (from the 17th to 18th centuries) to the Nguyen dynasty (from the 18th century to 1945).
The antiques, which are national treasures stored at the museum, represent the tradition of skill and professionalism among Vietnamese artisans.
The exhibition will last through mid April.
