Nhan Dan – One hundred photos featuring film scenes and 20 film posters are on display at an exhibition entitled ‘Hanoi through Cinematography Works’ opened on September 22 at Ngoc Khanh cinema on Kim Ma street.

The exhibits are arranged under four themes, depicting the capital city before 1954, Hanoi in two resistance wars (1954-1975); Hanoi during the subsidised time (1975-1986); and Hanoi in the international integration process (1987-present).

Since 1954, nearly 500 cinematography works have been produced in various genres of documentary, feature, celluloid and animated films, depicting the beauty of landscape, culture and people of Hanoi.

The exhibition, held by the Vietnam Film Institute on its 31st anniversary, will run until October 22.
