The exhibition entitled 'Dong Loc, Mother and the Homeland' features images of Vietnamese mothers and Dong Loc T-junction, and commemorates the ten heroic women who sacrificed their lives 44 years ago to ensure the safe transport of supplies and ammunition through the junction.
Nearly 100 photographs are on display depicting the artist’s memories and experiences of the war, as well as the changes in his native land and his gratitude and sentiment for heroic Vietnamese mothers.
Journalist cum photographer Colonel Tran Hong was born in Huong Khe district, Ha Tinh province and joined the resistance war against the US. He now works as a photojournalist for the Quan Doi Nhan Dan (People's Army) newspaper.
The exhibition will be open through July 28.
