An exhibition featuring paintings drawn with oil and gold foils by Swiss painter Thomas Sarbach is being held in Ho Chi Minh City.

Titled “Golden art for golden time,” the exhibition showcases 22 works which are inspired by natural elements like earth, sea and the universe.
Born in Paraguay, Sarbach who is also known as Tom Fly, grew up in Switzerland as an adopted child.
The 39-year-old painter was always fascinated by gold, and started working with the special material in the 1990s. Through the paintings, the artist wants to send a message that all things in this planet are as precious as gold.
Sarbach has had exhibitions in several countries including Switzerland, Indonesia and Thailand.
The exhibition at the HCMC Fine Arts Museum at 97A Pho Duc Chinh Street in District 1 will run until April 10.
Admission is free.
