PANO - A live-broadcast art exchange, “Epic songs about soldiers”, will take place on the evening of July 21 st , in Hanoi in celebration of 65 th anniversary of the Day of War-Invalids and Martyrs, July 27 th .
The exchange will be jointly organized by Communist Review, People’s Army Newspaper, Policy Department under the General Department of Politics, Vietnam Television Corporation (VTC) and PetroVietnam.
At a press conference, held on July 16 th , to introduce this event, Senior Lieutenant-Colonel Nguyen Kim Ton, Deputy Chief-Editor of the People’s Army Newspaper unveiled that the exchange will have three parts highlighting epic songs about soldiers, the strength of the public and staying firm in new front.
“The exchange aims to show gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh, martyrs, war-invalids, sick soldiers, Heroic Vietnamese Mothers, and those who had devoted their lives to the cause of national independence and freedom”, stressed Deputy Chief-Editor Nguyen Kim Ton.
With the sponsor from enterprises and benefactors, including PetroVietnam, the organizing board is going to present 5 remaining houses of gratitude and 80 saving books to policy beneficiaries in some provinces including Thai Binh, as part of the exchange.
To date, around 20 houses of gratitude, valued at VND 50 million each, and 80 saving books VND 5 million each have been presented to 100 families of martyrs, Heroic Vietnamese Mothers, war-invalids and sick soldiers in provinces of Quang Nam, Quang Tri Thanh Hoa and others.
The exchange will be broadcast live on channels of VTC1, VTV9, CAND and VOV1 from S4 film studio of VTC.
