A health program officially has got underway in Hanoi, with the European Union (EU) and the World Health Organization (WHO) supporting Vietnam’s Ministry of Health.

The “Policy Dialogue” program will help Vietnam to enhance its ability to evaluate plans, strategies and national policies when expanding medical services across the country.

The program will also use the ability and experience of the WHO, as it will chair the project to provide Vietnam with the best technical solutions available.

Vietnam was one of seven countries selected by EU to join the WHO’s health program because of the recent achievements the country has made in health care.

Over the years, the EU has contributed significantly to healthcare services in Vietnam, spending over 70 million Euros on the services in the country.

This latest program will run for three years.
