VietNamNet Bridge – Le Van Duan of Eximbank HCM City won the first stage of the Return to Truong Son cycling race yesterday, July 15.

Cyclists completed 24 circuits of the capital's Hoan Kiem lake in the 40.8km stage.
Duan took the yellow jersey. Phan Thanh Dien of An Giang Plant Protection and Bui Minh Thuy of ADC-Vinh Long Television were second and third respectively.
Cyclists will contest the 150km second stage from Ha Noi to Thanh Hoa City today.
