The fund management company Dragon Capital has received VND1 trillion ($48.6 million) in cash from the divestment of 61.1 million shares of Sacombank (coded STB on Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange), Thoi Bao Kinh Te Sai Gon newspaper reported.
Among the two foreign buyers, one is Jui Chang Hen, husband of Huynh Que Ha – first deputy chairman of the board of Sacombank who has registered to buy 30.67 million STB shares, and the second one has yet been unveiled.
During the Thursday trading session on HoSE, 74.7 million STB shares were traded under negotiation method at the ceiling price of VND1,600 a share with total value of VND1.2 trillion within 3 minutes.
