The Vietnam Dog Show 2011, consisting of VKA National All Breed Championship Dog Show, VKA National Phu Quoc Dog Show, VKA FCI International Dog Show and VKA-VBKC Bully Dog Show, will take place at the sporting event hall of the HCMC University of Physical Education & Sports in District 5 this weekend.

The Vietnam Dog Show 2011, consisting of VKA National All Breed Championship Dog Show, VKA National Phu Quoc Dog Show, VKA FCI International Dog Show and VKA-VBKC Bully Dog Show, will take place at the sporting event hall of the HCMC University of Physical Education & Sports in District 5 this weekend.
The event, which starts at 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. tomorrow and continues through to 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Sunday, has attracted over 300 local and international dogs including breeds such as German shepherd, Bulldog, Boxer, Chihuahua, Dalmatian, Siberian Husky and Alaskan Malamute.
The 1st VKA-VBKC Bully Dog Show 2011 has been added to the schedule at the last minute and will be evaluated by Thai judge Somnuek.
The event aims to mark the acknowledgement of Vietnam as the 85th member of the Federation Cynologique Internationale (FCI), the World Canine Organization, and to honor the best dogs and their owners.
The HCMC University of Physical Education and Sports is located at 639 Nguyen Trai Street in District 5.
