The 15-volume documentary film about President Ho Chi Minh, entitled “Spirit of Vietnam”, shot by Thai film-makers will be shown on Vietnam Television Channel 1 at 10.15PM every Monday and Wednesday from April 11th. Each volume lasts 15 minutes.
Two Thai television channels, Channel 7 and Morning TV also plan to broadcast this documentary this April.
“Spirit of Vietnam” illustrates the revolutionary activities of Uncle Ho in Thai provinces, namely Ubon Rachathani, Mukdahan and Nakhon Phanom, between 1928 and 1929.
Directed by Dr. Artha Nantachukra, Deputy-Dean of History Faculty of University of Maha Sarakham, Thailand, this documentary will help spectators know more about the reason why Nguyen Ai Quoc selected Thailand as one of his destinations in the revolutionary struggle, as well as Uncle Ho himself through stories told by those who spoke with him.
“This is our gift to Uncle Ho to mark the 100th anniversary of the day he left Vietnam seeking way to save the nation, on June 5th”, said the film director.
