Deputy-Minister of Brazilian Foreign Ministry Hadil da Rocha Viana said he was deeply impressed on Vietnam after his first visit to the country though it was a very short one.
Addressing the forum Vietnam-Latin America trade and investment in Hanoi on July 6 th , the Brazilian Deputy Foreign Minister stressed that he was so impressed by Hanoi’s active and diverse development. He added that Hanoi is developing quickly with sustainable economic growth rate without influenced by global finance crisis. Especially, he was so moved with the Vietnamese people’s hospitality and warm welcome reserved for him and his delegation.
He said that the Vietnam-Latin America Trade and Investment Forum is a good chance to promote the image of Vietnam and its people as well as its potential business market to leading Latin American economy, including Brazil. Through this forum, his delegation could understand clearly about Vietnam and its socio-economy.
Asked about potential between Vietnam and Latin America, the Brazilian diplomat confided that Brazil always considers Vietnam as its important strategic partner and recommended that two nations should boost cooperation on education and culture for people in each country to learn more about every nation’s special unique history, customs and culture.
