Deputy Prime Minister Truong Vinh Trong has instructed Ho Chi Minh City authorities and the Ministry of Transport to settle a resident’s complaint that changes in a beltway’s construction plans damaged a neighborhood.
Nguyen Hong Hai, a resident from Tan Binh District’s Ward 2, said in his letter of complaint that the city government was not complying with plans approved for the Tan Son NhatBinh Loi beltway in 1997 and was doing so without approval from the Prime Minister and relevant ministries.
The changes had caused property damages for local people and reduced the green area in Gia Dinh Park, he said.
