Deputy PM Phuc, who is also Vice Chairman of CSCJR, emphasised these points at a meeting with the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Thua Thien - Hue Judicial Reform Steering Committee on March 26.
He also asked the province to make thorough plans for establishing a regional people’s court of first instance.
The Deputy PM praised Thua Thien – Hue’s preparations and initial results in judicial reform, as well as progress made in the provincial courts, procuracies and investigation agencies.
At the meeting, the Thua Thien – Hue Steering Committee for Judicial Reform reported on the progress of establishing a regional people’s court of first instance, as well as difficulties and obstacles experienced in implementing the Politburo’s guidelines on judicial reform, and made suggestions to the CSCJR and provincial leaders.
