The Da Nang people’s committee wants relevant agencies to instruct foreign tourism companies to stop using the term “China Beach” to refer to the city’s Non Nuoc beach.

It wants the term removed from their websites and all printed matter.
Da Nang authorities also urged Vietnamese tourism businesses to remove the term from their websites and destroy brochures and other printed matter having the words.
They also warned that companies using incorrect information to refer to geographical locations in the city will be severely penalized.
