Based in Ho Chi Minh City, Christopher will be responsible for all aspects of the business operations and activities of DHL Express in Vietnam, in particular leading the company’s strategic development and ongoing investment in the country.

Christopher joined DHL in October 2006 as vice president, Business Development, Asia Pacific in the Singapore Regional Office, where he not only facilitated and streamlined the joint-venture relationships and structures of the Express division, but also reorganised various domestic businesses in the region.

“Christopher brings with him a wealth of experience working with companies across various industries. He is also looked upon as a motivated and goal-driven leader. Vietnam is an exciting and dynamic market offering significant growth opportunities for DHL Express. The local office has performed well for the past years and we are confident that the business will continue to thrive under the stewardship of Christopher,” said Yasmin Aladad Khan, senior vice president, DHL Express, Southeast Asia.

Prior to joining DHL Express, Christopher spent almost ten years with Temasek Holdings, the Singapore government-owned sovereign wealth fund, where he was responsible for originating, evaluating and executing investments, as well as managing and restructuring companies around the globe.

Christopher succeeds Tim Baxter, who has moved to lead DHL Express in New Zealand, following his four year stint as the general director in Vietnam.
