Co.opMart opens its 59th supermarket in Ca Mau city

Nhan Dan – Saigon Co.op Investment Development Joint Stock Co. (SCID) opened a new Co.opMart supermarket in Ca Mau city, bringing the number of branches in the chain to 59 nationwide.

The two-storey building, built at a cost of VND 90 billion, is located at No.9, Tran Hung Dao Street in Ward 5.

The total floor area of 5,000 square metres features more than 30,000 different types of essential goods for customers to choose from and plenty of space for food and beverage services and other entertainment facilities.

For the grand opening, the supermarket is offering discounts up to 49% on thousands of goods and has donated VND 100 million to Ca Mau province’s Fund for the Poor.

The new supermarket is currently the biggest supermarket in Ca Mau province which aims to meet the increasing demands for shopping in the province and encourage Vietnamese people to preferentially use domestically-produced goods.
