PANO - Unit 113 under the Commando Arm was conferred the National Protection Order, third class on its 40th founding anniversary (June 3rd) in the presence of Lieutenant-General Nguyen Tuan Dung, Deputy Head of the General Department of Politics.
During the past 40 years of development, Regiment 113 (present Unit 113) has brought its tradition into full play to excellently fulfill all assigned tasks.
The unit has also heightened its strong will of determination and spirit of solidarity, creativeness and self-help for self-improvement.
In recent years, Unit 113 has been entrusted to be a mobile force of the Defence Ministry and a vital unit of the Commando Arm to take challenges to take the lead in emulation movements of determination to win launched by the Ministry and the Arm.
With its outstanding achievements, the Unit has been conferred the title Hero of the People’s Armed Forces three times by the Party and the State.
