HCMC – Technology-Entrepreneurs-Creative Arts Mix (TECx), which aims to boost tie-ups between Vietnam and the U.S. in the fields of technology, trade and investment, kicked off in the city on Wednesday.
The annual trade and technology promotion event is organized by Strategic Alliance Vietnamese Ventures International (SAVVi) in coordination with the U.S. General Consulate in HCMC.
Fifteen U.S.-based enterprises are joining the event to share their new technologies in four key sectors including film production-media-mobile network, medicine, agriculture and education, said Huy Do, chairman of SAVVi.
Apart from speeches from experts and discussion sessions on technology, Vietnamese enterprises will have the chance to bolster tie-ups with their U.S. peers at the four-day conference, according to Huy.
Vietnamese businesses can commercialize their ideas to American partners through the conference, said Le Thanh An, the U.S. Consul General in HCMC.
