For many Vietnamese, the food from the Central is special. Time-consuming to prepare the dishes taste second to none. The new Cay Sa Restaurant in HCMC’s District 3 is good, cheap and clean and serves delicious Central cuisine.
It’s great for fast, tasty, nutritious lunches for one, two or a group. There are three dining areas on the ground floor and the first floor and there’s a nice long lounge in the back. Food photos and vases of aromatic herbs decorate the space.
Some specialties of the restaurant are che (sweet soup), bun bo Hue (beef noodle in Hue style), nem nuong (girlled meat roll), mi Quang, bun ca Qui Nhon (fish noodle in Qui Nhon style), bun ca thu (mackerel noodle), che khoai mon (taro sweet soup), che ba ba, and dau xanh nuoc dua (green beans served with coconut milk). Cay Sa also serves vegetarian food from VND20,000 to VND36,000 a plate.
Main course are priced from VND29,000 to VND58,000 while sweet soup and desserts are priced from VND11,000 to VND25,000.
