Canadian Education Fairs to take place in Hanoi and HCM City

Nhan Dan Online- Canadian Education Fairs will take place in Hanoi on October 24 and Ho Chi Minh City on October 30 with representatives from almost 70 Canadian educational institutions.

This is the biggest event of its kind ever held in Vietnam including institutions representing the best educational options in Canada from kindergarten to grade 12, up to colleges and universities.

Co-organised by the Canadian embassy in Hanoi, the Consulate General of Canada in Ho Chi Minh City, and Canadian Education International (CEI), the Canadian Education Fairs offer Vietnamese school counselors, educational agents, students and their families an excellent opportunity to see what Canada has to offer. These events will also allow students the chance to address questions directly to academic representatives of Canadian educational institutions and Vietnamese alumni who have studied in Canada. Information about the visa application process will also be available.

At the fairs, people will be given information on how to apply for scholarship programmes including the Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship for doctoral students and the Sauvé Scholars programme for young leaders under 30 years old.

The event will also offer seminars on visas and exploring a Canadian education for those who are interested.

The fairs are open to the public at the Melia Hotel in Hanoi and at the Intercontinental Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City from 1pm to 7pm on their respecitve dates.
