VGP - The Consumer Price Index (CPI) in April increased by 0.05% against the previous month and up 2.6% compared to the end of 2011.
This is the lowest rise so far this year, in comparison with an increase of 0.16% in March, 1.37% in February and 1% in January.
Of the groups of goods with rising prices, traffic services ranked first, dealing with a rise of 2.67%, followed by education, 1.63% and garment, headwear, footwear, equipment and household devices.
The price of food fell down 0.8%, building material, down 0.44% and telecommunication down 0.11%.
Gold price reduced around 2.62% and the US $/VND exchange rate, down 0.07% compared to March.
