Disabled and disabled people’s patrons will receive supports from the Government, according to a draft decree to specify the Law on the Disabled compiled by the Ministry of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs.
Accordingly, businesses, with the exception of exporters, who employ 30 per cent or above of disabled people, will enjoy exemptions in business revenue taxes from now until the end of 2012.
The decree also states that, if the very disabled people or their families set up household enterprises, they can also have access to loans at a low interest rate from the policy banks.
In case disable people cannot work, they will get allowances of between VND 180,000 and 360,000, depending on their disabilities and ages.
Meanwhile, disabled students will be provided free education and board at special public schools.
