The bridge had been sealed off as a landslide affected the abutment on the Binh Thanh District side and caused a stretch of the bridge railing to tilt. China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) and Vietnam’s Hanoi Construction Corporation (Hancorp) caused the landslide while implementing their contract packages in the Thi Nghe-Nhieu Loc Canal environment cleanup project.
