British Council hosts Career Fair in Hanoi

Connect the Dots Career Fair will take place at 8 a.m. on Saturday at Hanoi’s Daewoo Hotel.
The event offers young graduates the opportunity to meet highly-experienced Human Resource Managers, talk to representatives from top firms, share their CVs and speak to professionals about career options.
There will also be a number of employers at the event looking for young talents including
VietinBank, VP Bank, HR2B, PwC Vietnam, McKinsey & Co, Standard & Chartered Bank, Techcombank, Maritime Bank and VIB.
Connect the Dots will also offer participants the opportunity to find out the latest labor trends in Vietnam and asking questions to a panel of leading employers who will be exploring the challenges faced by students returning from studies abroad.
Ian Robinson, deputy director of British Council Vietnam, said: “Connect the Dots is a great example of the British Council’s connecting role bringing together UK Alumni Vietnam, which now has more than 2000 members, the Vietnamese Society at the London School of Economics and Political Science (VNLSE), and University of Southampton Vietnamese Alumni (SAV) for this great event that celebrates British Council’s 20th year in Vietnam.”
This is a joint-initiative between British Council Vietnam, United Kingdom Alumni Vietnam (UKAV), the Vietnamese Society at London School of Economics and Political Science (VNLSE), and University of Southampton Alumni Vietnam (SAV).
