PANO – The ongoing sports festival of the Border Guard Service is taking place at the Border Guard training centre in Tam Duong District, Vinh Phuc Province, from August 17th to 20th, with the participation of 500 athletes from 25 units in provinces and cities in the northeastern and northern areas.
The athletes will compete for sets of medals in 7 events, namely, Strong soldiers, crossing hurdles K91, four combined military sports for officers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers, 10km cross-country race, practical swimming, and advanced K54 shooting lesson 1.
The festival aims to evaluate the units’ sport training quality and choose the best athletes for the coming army sports festival at the end of this year.
