Big Bang are big hit at SoundFest

Around 40,000 fans went wild when Big Bang, one of Asia’s most popular groups, hit the stage to perform six tunes including Tonight, Bad Boy, Lies and Fantastic Baby. Other leading artists taking part were Taio Cruz (the U.K), Kimberly Caldwell, finalist of American Idol 2003, Tata Young (Thailand), The Wall rock band, rapper Suboi and Vietnam Idol 2008 winner Phuong Vy. Despite a number of fans fainting near the stage causing a long interruption, the festival was lapped up by Saigonese music fans with a huge stage worth US$1 million and five giant LED screens in the six hectare stadium.
