HCMC – Ba Huan Co., Ltd has started building a large-scale chicken farm in Binh Duong Province at a cost of VND180 billion in a bid to better satisfy domestic consumption demand for chickens and eggs.
The 18-hectare farm includes 28 coops for production of chicken eggs and one coop for production of breeders. It will supply around 62.5 million eggs and 775,000 chicks annually, said Pham Thanh Hung, deputy director of Ba Huan Co.
The farm is equipped with a ventilation system to keep temperatures below 27 degrees Celsius.
“The farm will supply clean eggs and chicken to HCMC and neighboring provinces at stable prices. We have joined the price stabilization program for years, and the presence of this chicken farm is to realize our commitments,” Hung reckoned.
Hung said his company must take out VND122 billion in loans or 69% of total investment capital so as to launch the farm.
