Viet Van, a journalist winning various international prizes, has become the only Vietnamese photographer to win a prize at the biggest photo contest in Europe, PX3-Paris, held in France with the participation of many photographers from 85 countries.
His set of images, “Memory”, won a silver medal in the professional category.
The PX3 jury includes 31 members who are art critics, photo editors, managers of well-known media corporations such as New York Time, Time Magazine, Paris Match, National Geographic, Agency.Photographer.ru Moscow, Sydney Morning Herald and American Photography.
The contest aims to drive photography to its peak as well as discover emerging talents for their presentation to the art community in Paris.
Viet Van is also the only Vietnamese photographer wining the PX3 prize in four consecutive years.
