PANO - A live fire exercise, “Targets on the Move at Sea”, was conducted by Artillery Regiment 368, under Military Zone 5, in Phu My District, Binh Dinh Province on May 31 st .
Major-General Tran Quang Phuong, Commissar, and Major-General Nguyen Long Cang, Commander of Military Zone 5, observed the event.
This exercise aimed to check and evaluate results of practice and mobile capability of combat readiness, command ability and combat coordination of officers at all levels, especially to test the possibility of enforcing the defending national seas and islands.
At the exercise, the Regiment’s troops successfully destroyed a moving target, a mock-up ship, at 7km away.
