PANO - Brigade 490, under Artillery Arm, on August 3 rd , opened an Arm-level military equipment contest with the participation of representatives from many army units from General Department of Techniques, Military Zones, Army Corps, Artillery Arm, Tank-Armour Command and Naval Force.
22 contestants are from units of surface-to-sea missile, surface-to-surface missile, and anti-tank rocket and from several depots of rockets or military equipment.
This year’s contest aims to evaluate and enhance quality of military equipment and rockets as well as improve regular routine for technique.
Also, the contest is a chance for technical troops to improve their professionalism and training to master technical weapons.
The contestants competed in several main contents, including good missile-military equipment, good technical areas and activities in technical days, knowledge of technique and the movement “Manage and exploit weapons and technical equipment well, safely and economically”.
Through the contest, quality of military equipment and the troops’ ability of military equipment management will improve to be more practical, effectively and economical.
The contest will end on November 12.
