Army’s newspaper launches Chinese version

At the launching ceremony

Addressing the ceremony, Major General Le Phuc Nguyen, the PAN Editor-in-Chief affirmed that while the regional and international situation faces complicated and unpredictable changes, promoting co-operation between Vietnam and China, and between the Parties of both nations, is in accordance with their mutual fundamental and long-term interests. Such cooperation benefits the shared causes of developing socialism for peace, stability, co-operation, and development in the region and the world.

The debut of the Chinese language version marks PAN’s new development in creating an accurate, reliable and attractive channel for Chinese speaking communities around the world to further understand the viewpoints and policies of theVietnamese Communist Party, the State of Vietnam and its people and land.

Along with other versions of PAN, the online Chinese version will popularise policies, viewpoints and lines of Party, State and Army, to help implement the external policy of multi-lateralisation and diversification, and consolidate the traditional friendship between the people of both Vietnam and China.

PAN online Chinese version is comprised of columns about domestic and international relations, the Vietnam People’s Army’s tradition and essence, economic achievements and policies, legal documents on economic and investment co-operation, culture, history, and current social issues.
