Apple on Wednesday introduced a new Apple TV set-top box at its iPad event held in San Francisco.
The latest generation of Apple TV box supports 1080p videos and has a redesigned user interface that is quite similar to the iOS system. The new box includes a wide range of third party apps, including NetFlix, Flickr, YouTube and Photo Steam.
The new Apple TV also supports the old features, including AirPlay, movie rentals and purchases from iTunes and iTunes Match support.
The new box will be available on March 16 for 99 U.S. dollars, which is the same price as before, and the preorder starts on Wednesday.
