The People’s Committee of Hoi An City, Quang Nam Province has lent artefacts found in Hoi An City to the Japanese Kyushu Museum for an exhibition in the coming time.
Artefacts include coloured glass excavated in the Bai Lang–Cu Lao Cham relic, Japanese Hizen and Chinese china found under a house foundation at 16 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai.
Experts from the Kyushu Museum and the city’s Showa University selected and borrowed the most special artefacts from the Hoi An Centre for Cultural Heritage Management and Preservation to display at the Museum.
Those artefacts will contribute to promoting the image of Hoi An City to the Japanese as well as to help them learn more about trading activities between merchants from Japan and Hoi An City in the past.
