Archuleta, whose angelic voice captured the hearts of millions of television viewers in the U.S., will sing some popular songs from the TV program and some hits from his latest album named ‘The Other Side of Down’ as part of his Asian tour.
In HCMC, Archuleta will perform with Vietnamese artists Ho Ngoc Ha, Tuan Hung, Ngo Thanh Van, Bao Thy, Noo Phuoc Thinh, Dong Nhi and Vietnam Idol 2010 winner and runner-up Uyen Linh and Van Mai Huong. Ticket prices range from VND100,000 to VND1 million.
In Hanoi, the show will have the participation of Dam Vinh Hung who promises to warm up the audience with Tuan Hung, Van Mai Huong and Linh. Tickets are priced at VND200,000.
After the Hanoi show Archuleta, 21, will depart for Malaysia to prepare for his concert there on July 26.
Archuleta captured second place at American Idol 7 (2007-2008) after receiving 44% of over 97 million votes when he was just 16. That season rocker David Cook won the series.
