In response to the World Water Day (March 22nd), themed “Water and Food Security”, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, in association with Hau Giang People’s Committee, will organise a national meeting with diverse activities in Vi Thanh City, Hau Giang Province on March 21st and March 22nd. It is expected that about 4,000 people will attend this meeting.

Various activities will be held on these days, including a science seminar on water and food security, an art photos exhibition on water and food security, Ngo boat race at Xa No channel.

World Water Day is annual held on March 22nd to highlight the importance of freshwater and the sustainable management of freshwater resources.
