Under the programme, the two bodies will support each other in strengthening the spiritual life of young Youth Union members and labourers while raising their awareness on preventing and controlling social evils and illegal drugs; caring for and protecting their legitimate rights and benefits; and boosting the operations of trade unions, youth unions and youth federations in non-state organisations.
The co-operation aims to promote the vanguard role of youth members and labourers in fulfilling their assigned tasks and encourage their creativity and patriotism to build stronger trade unions, youth unions and youth federations.
At the signing ceremony, the VGCL and HCYUCC presented ‘For the Cause of Trade Union’ and ‘For the Younger Generation’ medals to outstanding individuals who have contributed to developing the operations of trade unions and youth unions.
In other events held to mark Workers Month, the Vinh Long provincial Federation of Labour Union held a ceremony to launch the Month with the participation of nearly 1,000 workers and the Hai Duong and Nam Dinh provincial Federations of Labour Unions praised and presented gifts to outstanding workers living in difficult circumstances in the localities.
