The tournament will be held from June 30 to July 8 in Shanghai, China. Teams will be seeded in accordance with their ranking at the last tournament.
No 8 seeds Viet Nam will join the hosts, Afghanistan and the United Arab Emirates in Group A. No 1 seeds Iran are in Group B with Qatar, Uzbekistan and Myanmar. Group C is made up of Kazakhstan, Indonesia, India and Kuwait, while Group D comprises of Japan, Thailand, Turkmenistan, Singapore and Mongolia. — VNS
