PANO - The two-day Asia Summit 2011 (AMS-8) was successfully closed on May 25th in Hanoi.
The summit was served as a flatform for multisectoral and multimensional dialogue on the challenges and opportunities in the digital world of broadcasters.

It also offered a flatform for Vietnam and its people to showcase their efforts in the international integration process, enabling international delegates to better understand and appreciate the country’s rapid development and dynamism, especially in media and to share their warmth and hospitality, well appreciated by the Summit’s delegates.
Moreover, the summit helped foster a more meaningful relationship with broadcasters by identifying some of their urgent needs in capacity building and pursuing specific responses to enhance competence and professionalism of their employees.
Addressing the closing ceremony, Mr. Yang Binyuan, AIBD’s Director, stressed outstanding achievements of this summit that saw the sharing in information and experiences among delegates.
He also emphasized that the successful organization of AMS-8 was a start of further co-operations between AIBD and Radio the Voice of Vietnam.
The next AMS will take place in Bangkok, Thailand.
