Titled “Click: Capturing Images of Inclusive Growth,” the competition calls for entries featuring themes of climate change, gender equal, the effects of disasters and food security.
It is open to both amateur and professional photographers living in ABD’s 67 member countries who can send in up to three photos by April 15 to the email address adbngocphotocontest@gmail.com.
The prizes are US$600 for the best photo in the professional category and US$500 for the best photo in the amateur category. The winner of the Popularity prize, which will be determined through Facebook and on-site voting, will receive $200.
The participating photographs will be exhibited in various locations as well as published on the ADB website, other relevant sites, for non-profit use by ADB and ADB’s not-for-profit partners to promote awareness on the contest’s theme as well as educate, alert, and inspire people to act.
The awarding ceremony will be held in May.
