With diversified themes of ‘Rong thieng hoi tu’ (sacred dragons gathering), ‘7 ky quan thien nhien the gioi’ (seven world wonders) and ‘Du lich bien dao’ (sea and islands’ tourism) the carnival had the participation of nearly 3,800 artists from Quang Ninh Province, Laos, China and South Korea with a total budget of VND18.7 billion. The event was a highlight of the Halong-Quang Ninh Tourism Week aimed to promote the image, cultural values and landscapes of Quang Ninh Province and to strengthen the promotion of Halong Bay and raise awareness of heritage conservation among locals and tourists.
