2nd Vietnam-Korea fairy tale to debut

The Korean Cultural Center in Vietnam will make public the second Vietnamese-Korean fairy tale, “Lazy boy turned into an ox”, on December 28th.

This book is in the bilingual collection, “Vietnam-Korea Fairy Tale”, which introduces 10 fairy stories of Vietnam and the Republic of Korea.

At the introduction ceremony, the Korean Cultural Center will present the National Library 500 copies of the book to later distribute to other localities across Vietnam.

Besides, the Center will also hand over 300 copies to Vietnamese universities with Korean language faculty and 200 copies to Vietnamese-Korean families.

The English version of this book is expected to make its debut in mid-January 2012 and participate in various book fairs in the world in 2012, including Bologna in Italy, Frankfurt in Germany.

The book is hoped to provide Vietnamese-Korean families with the long-term history and culture of the two countries.
