28 Vietnamese representatives selected for the “Ship for Southeast Asian Youth Program” (SSEAYP) 2011 has had a meeting with businesses in Hanoi on October 12th, as part of a training program to prepare for SSEAYP 2011 to be held from October 10th to October 24th. These young Vietnamese meet various criteria, including good command of English, good knowledge of ASEAN and Japanese economic, political and cultural-social achievements as well as activeness in social activities.
They will be trained for various programs, such as Vietnam’s economy, politics, society, Japan and ASEAN’s context and several performances for entertainment .
The trip will last from October 25th to December 16th in Japan and five other countries, including The Philippines, Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia and Vietnam. The ship is expected to arrive at Saigon Port from December 4th to December 7th.
Representatives will discuss hot issues about environment, food safety and nutrition, HIV/AIDS prevention and control, international relationship as well as the youth’s capacity of leadership.
In particular, the Vietnamese delegation will celebrate “Vietnam Day” when the trip arrives.
