13th Vietnam-China joint patrol completes

PANO - Four Vietnamese and Chinese ships have successfully concluded the 13th joint patrol mission from June 4 to June 8th.

The “HQ861” and “HQ862” from Naval Fleet 314, Brigade 161, Command of Naval C region of Vietnam and the missile ship 752 and 753 from Chinese People’s Liberation Army Navy conducted a joint patrol to observe the law enforcement and fishing activities in joint fishing area between Vietnam and China.

The two sides also well-practiced signal information exchange with flags during the daytime and with torches at night.

At the end of the event, two fleets of Vietnamese People’s Navy and Chinese People’s Liberation Army Navy conducted a drill on anti-pirates.

The joint patrol and anti-pirate exercise have contributed to building mutual trust and consolidating traditional friendship and solidarity between the two armies and two peoples, building peaceful territorial waters and ensuring marine security for mutual benefits.
