Nhan Dan Online – The 2012 National Junior Kickboxing Championships officially kicked off at Ha Dong gymnasium in Hanoi on June 27, with the participation of 127 young male and female kickboxers representing 12 teams from across the country.
The participants, divided into two age groups 15-16 and 17-18, will be competing in 33 weight categories ranging from under 42kg to 75kg.
The event provides a good opportunity for local kickboxers to hone their skills and for the national team to select the most promising talents to compete in upcoming international tournaments.
The tournament will last until June 30.
