The border guard in Vietnam’s Quang Tri province, in coordination with the Savannakhet provincial police in Laos, has arrested two people who were trafficking 10,000 ecstasy pills into Vietnam.

The two defendants are residents of Bulikhamxay province in Laos.
They told police that they bought the pills in Vientiane and contacted their partners in Vietnam to sell them in Huong Hoa district of Quang Tri and the surrounding provinces.
