1,000 heroic Vietnamese mothers offer incense at Hung Kings’ Temple

The Hanoitimes - A delegation of 1,000 heroic mothers offered incense at the Hung Kings’ Temple Complex in Phu Tho province o­n October 7.

The event, o­ne of a series of activities marking the 1,000th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi, involved heroic mothers from 63 cities and provinces across the country, who wished to show their gratitude to their ancestors before going to the capital to attend the big celebration.

After offering incense at Thuong (Upper) Temple, the delegation laid wreaths at the Hung Kings Royal Tomb, and visited Gieng (Well) Temple, Lac Long Quan Temple, and the bas-relief of Uncle Ho.

Leaders of the Vietnam War Veterans Association and Phu Tho province warmly welcomed the heroic mothers.

Later, the delegation took part in an exchange at Hung Vuong Museum in Viet Tri City.
