The five-day event is showcasing a wide variety of products introduced by 800 businesses from 22 countries and territories around the world.
Addressing the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Tran Nam emphasised that Vietbuild 2012 aims to boost trade promotion and technology transfer in the construction sector. It is a good opportunity for both local and foreign businesses to exchange information, explore new markets and establish partnerships, he said.
During the event, numerous seminars will take place, with a focus on new technologies, environmentally friendly innovations, consulting services, and trade promotion programmes in the construction sector.
To mark the occasion, the organising board will present the Vtopbuild Golden Cup for the best quality products on show.
